The construction of sewage networks and the modernization of existing ones creates new requirements for the neutralization of odors resulting from the transportation of waste water, its storage and the purification process. The chemical composition of the impurity includes both inorganic and organic substances, often very toxic (such as hydrogen sulfide, thiosulfates, mercaptans). Released chemicals (with and without odor) are often found in concentrations that pose a direct threat to human health and the environment.
Principle of action
Modern and stable structures of ventilation pipes and filters with installation under the well hatch are completely made of materials with very high resistance to long-term contacts with aggressive substances located in sewerage systems. The material used in the housing is stainless steel or polyethylene (PE).
Inner filter inserts are filled with impregnated activated carbon or biomass layer. The technology used allows simple, safe and self-service of only the filter element, without the need to buy a new ventilation filter or filter module. This solution significantly reduces operating costs.
The volume and physical and chemical parameters of the used fillers were chosen to provide long-term unattended operating time with maximum efficiency of the chemical deodorization process released as a result of anaerobic decomposition of waste water.
